Frequently Asked Questions
When does the Riverside Theater’s box office open?
The box office opens at 12 noon on days when there is an event or performance in the theater.
Can I refund or exchange my ticket?
No, it’s important to know that the Riverside Theater does not offer exchanges or refunds unless the scheduled performance is canceled.
Who owns the Riverside Theater?
The Riverside Theater has changed hands several times over the years. It was originally built and owned by RKO. In 1962, it was sold to Town Realty. This company first leased the theater to United Artists. Since 2005, the Riverside Theater has been leased by the Pabst Theater Group, which also operates several other theaters in Milwaukee, including the Pabst Theater itself.
Is there a way to skip the lines to get in?
Yes! You can purchase a Fast Pass as you are buying your tickets. This will allow you to skip the line. However, be aware that in order to use your Fast Pass you will have to install the app for AXS, the theater’s ticketing system, on your phone.
Is there a way to improve my chances of getting the best seats?
This one’s also a yes! You’ll need to become an e-member, which will give you access to the best seats before non-members. Don’t forget to select which type of events you’d like to get notification emails about – that can also help you to get those good seats before they’re gone.
Will I print out my tickets, or will I get them in the mail?
Both options are available to you if you live in Wisconsin. If you don’t live in Wisconsin, you will need to pick up your tickets at “will call,” at the theater.
You can also use the AXS app to show your tickets on your phone.
